ASG Strike Systems Pro Optics 3-9 X 50E review

Supplier:

Item was supplied From Actions Sport Games (ASG). There communication was slow at 1st due to a dead email link or a technical problem. Once I finally got my message to them they responded extremely quickly to make up for lost time due to the previous problems. All emails were answered and max time I had to wait was 2 days.

Packaging:

The item was well packaged in with the other items on the order. All excess space was packed with extra packaging to avoid movement in transit. All items came in good condition with no damage to the box.

Postage:

The postage was via UPS surface and came within 3 days of shipping. I received an email within minutes of the items being submitted to UPS to be collected. I then managed to track its every step online. I worked it out that it travelled 1600KM via land in 3 days.

1st Impressions:

The scope comes well padded in the box and includes a spare battery, scope covers and instructions. Unfortunately this does not come with any scope ring which is a shame. The scope has a nice clear picture and the cross hairs are simple but nice. With 11 settings of brightness on the illumination dial and 3 – 9 on the zoom ring this is a scope that has a lot to offer.

Usability:

Once I found a set of rings to mount this on, I went about zeroing the scope; with the covers removed it was really straight forward to zero in. There was some glare when the sun came out so would be good to get a sun shade to add to this. The rubber eye relief dial is comfy for those times you need to put your eye against it to stop the really bad glare from the sun. The scope enables fast precision aiming of the rifle and accurate follow up shots are easy due to the clarity of the image.

Conclusion:

Nice scope and comes with virtually all you need, A set of scope rings would be nice to be included in the set but for the price of £5 for some rings you cannot complain. The field of view is nice and plenty enough for Airsoft. On maximum zoon the clarity is still perfect with no blurring.

Ratings:

Usability: 7/10

Value for money: 7/10

Construction: 8/10

Field Of View: 9/10
